This a pile of wonky courgettes crudely carved from found branches. I have been thinking about the notion of a father as a 'provider' and what this might mean in a time of environment collapse and how attempts of mine to try and provide for the family feel so comically futile. It also comes from my long-standing interest in ideas about hand-made versus mass produced, with an acceptance of imperfection and individuality (a bit like being a parent too I suppose).
